AMMAN, February 7, 2025 (WAFA) – Thousands of Jordanians took to the streets today to express their solidarity and support for the Palestinian people in the face of ongoing Israeli aggression and forced displacement plans. The demonstrations took place in Amman, as well as in various other cities and provinces across the Kingdom.
Participants in the march, which began in front of the Ebad al-Rahman Mosque in Amman, chanted slogans honoring the resilience of the Palestinian people, highlighting their steadfastness in the face of Israel's military onslaught. The demonstrators also expressed their firm commitment to standing by the Palestinians' struggle for their legitimate rights.
The crowds praised the positions of King Abdullah II, commending his unwavering support for the Palestinian cause. They reiterated his stance on "fully standing with the Palestinian brothers in securing their legitimate rights, rejecting any attempts to annex Palestinian lands, and opposing the forced displacement of Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank." Additionally, they emphasized the importance of ensuring that Palestinians remain rooted on their land.
The participants called for an immediate halt to Israeli aggression against the cities and camps of the West Bank, denouncing the ongoing ethnic cleansing, genocide, and war crimes committed by the Israeli occupation forces in northern West Bank governorates.
They expressed their belief that all efforts aimed at displacing Palestinians from their ancestral lands will ultimately fail, due to the steadfastness and resilience of the Palestinian people.
