ABU DHABI, January 24, 2025 (WAFA) – The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has condemned the ongoing Israeli aggression on the city of Jenin in the occupied West Bank.

In a statement issued today, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its "strong condemnation and denunciation of the attack launched by Israeli occupation forces on the city of Jenin."

The ministry called on the international community to take responsibility for halting the continuous Israeli violations. It emphasized the "need for collective efforts to de-escalate tensions, prevent further bloodshed, and ensure full protection for civilians under international law and treaties."

The statement urged global powers to "work towards an immediate ceasefire to prevent further loss of life and to avoid escalating the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories and the region."

It also highlighted the importance of supporting all efforts to achieve comprehensive and just peace.

The UAE reiterated the necessity of "reviving regional and international efforts to advance the Middle East peace process and ending unlawful practices that threaten the two-state solution
