GAZA, January 20, 2025 (WAFA) - Medical sources reported on Monday that rescue teams and local residents have recovered the bodies of 58 slain Palestinians from under the rubble in the city of Rafah, in southern Gaza.

According to WAFA correspondent, with the recovery of the 58 bodies, the total number of slain Palestinians recovered from the city now stands at 137 since the ceasefire came into effect on Sunday at 11:15 AM.

Since October 7, 2023, Israeli occupation forces have launched a relentless aggression on Gaza, resulting in the killing of 47,035 civilians, the overwhelming majority of whom were women and children, and the wounding of 111,091 others. Thousands of victims remain trapped under the rubble.
