GAZA, November 29, 2024 (WAFA) - A Palestinian young man was killed and several others were injured last night in an Israeli airstrike on the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood of Gaza City, according to local sources.
The sources reported that Israeli forces targeted a five-story building on Kashko Street in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, located south of Gaza City. The building, which belonged to the al-Sarahi family, was hit by the airstrike, resulting in the murder of one citizen and injuries to others.
Additionally, it was reported that Israeli drones fired at paramedic teams attempting to reach the site of the attack, preventing them from providing medical assistance to the victims.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 44,330 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 104,933 others injured.
Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.
Israel's genocidal onslaught continues unabated despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
