RAMALLAH, November 27, 2024 (WAFA) – The overall Producer Price Index (PPI) for Palestine with its base year (2019 = 100) reached 177.98 in October 2024, as it increased by 2.85% compared to September 2024, according to a report by the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS).
The report shows that the Producer Price Index for local exported products (2019 = 100) reached 125.36 in October 2024, which indicates an increase of 3.60% compared to September 2024.
Producer Price Index for locally consumed products (2019 = 100) reached 183.61 in October 2024, which indicates an increase of 2.80% compared to September 2024.
The changes of PPI for October 2024 were traced back to changes in prices of the following major activities compared to the previous month:
