BERLIN, October 5, 2024 (WAFA) – The Palestinian community in Germany organized a large rally today in the city of Hamburg, condemning the ongoing Israeli aggression and the atrocities committed in Palestine, particularly in Gaza, as well as in Lebanon.
The event saw participation from various Arab and Islamic communities, alongside German and European supporters.
Participants marched through the streets of Hamburg, waving Palestinian and Lebanese flags, and holding signs expressing solidarity with both peoples while denouncing the crimes perpetrated by the Israeli army against civilians in Gaza, the West Bank, and Lebanon.
The crowd chanted for freedom for Palestine and Lebanon, calling for an end to the ongoing violence and demanding the delivery of food, medical, and relief supplies to Gaza, the West Bank, and Lebanon.
Samer Bilal Aslan, the head of the Palestinian community in Bremen and its suburbs, condemned the international inaction and silence in the face of continued war crimes and acts of genocide in Gaza, the West Bank, and Lebanon.
He urged an end to double standards in international responses, emphasizing the need for intensified efforts to achieve an immediate halt to the aggression against both the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples.
