PARIS, September, 10, 2024 (WAFA) – Palestinian photographer Louay Ayoub won the Visa Pour Photo Festival Award for his video report "The Gaza Tragedy", the largest international event dedicated to photojournalism, which launched its 36th edition last weekend in the French city of Perpignan.

The Palestinian Journalists Syndicate congratulated colleague Ayoub, considering this win an honor for all fellow journalists who sacrificed everything to continue working day and night to deliver the voice of truth to the world.

It stressed that this achievement reflects the depth of colleague Ayoub's commitment and professionalism in conveying the suffering and pain of the Palestinian people as a result of the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Strip, which resulted in the killing of more than 40,000.

It is worth noting that colleague Ayoub's report was chosen as the best report by a group of international photo editors.
