MANILA, Friday, August 21, 2024 (WAFA) - Palestinian karate player, Maryam Bisharat, won the gold medal in the World Karate League Championship hosted by the Philippine capital, Manila.
Bisharat received the gold medal in the women's karate -61kg category, after she defeated her competitors from Uzbekistan and Indonesia.
Bisharat also won the gold medal at the World League Championship, which was held in the Spanish city of La Coruña at the end of last May.
