Mass car parade held in Bremen in solidarity with Gaza

BERLIN, Sunday, August 18, 2024 (WAFA) -- The Palestinian community organized a large car parade yesterday in the city of Bremen, Germany, and its surrounding areas to condemn the ongoing crimes and massacres committed by the Israeli occupation in Gaza, the West Bank, and Jerusalem.

The event saw participation from over 350 vehicles, which effectively blocked all entrances to Bremen.

The parade featured Palestinian flags and signs expressing solidarity with the Palestinian people while condemning the atrocities of the Israeli military against civilians in Gaza. The protest also included participation from various Arab communities, German citizens, and European allies.

Samer Bilal Aslan, head of the Palestinian community in Bremen, stated, "This massive rally was organized to show our solidarity with the people in Gaza. We want them to know they are not alone."

He called for immediate pressure to halt the massacres and genocide against the Palestinian people in Gaza and emphasized the urgent need for a ceasefire.
