BANGLADESH, Monday, August 5, 2024 (WAFA) – A Bangladeshi military source confirmed on Monday that Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has resigned and left the country.

Sheikh Hasina's son called on security forces to prevent any coup against her rule.
Hasina, 76, has ruled Bangladesh since 2009 and won a fourth term in the January elections.
