RAMALLAH, Wednesday, July 3, 2024 (WAFA) - Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa today met with the Regional Director of the World Health Organization (WHO), Hanan Belkhi, at his office in Ramallah, where they discussed strengthening cooperation on the provision of emergency health services to the population in the Gaza Strip.

They also discussed supporting the government's initiative for the localization of medical services and developing the capacities of the health sector.

Mustafa expressed appreciation for the support provided by the World Health Organization and its partnership with the Ministry of Health, pointing out the importance of concerted efforts to restore the devastated health system in the Gaza Strip after the end of the occupation’s aggression and to better meet the needs of the population of Gaza.
