CAIRO, Wednesday, July 3, 2024 (WAFA) - The Arab League announced that it will hold an extraordinary session on Thursday at the level of the permanent delegates; headed by Yemen, at the request of the State of Palestine, to discuss confronting the ongoing Israeli crimes of genocide, aggression and colonial expansion.
Palestine’s Permanent Representative to the Arab League, Ambassador Mohannad Aklouk, told WAFA that the meeting will focus on discussing the Arab movement, in light of the continued genocide committed by the Israeli occupation, the occupying power, against the Palestinian people for the ninth consecutive month, as well as in the wake of the occupation government’s decisions aimed at preventing the embodiment of the independence of the State of Palestine and consolidating its appropriation plans in the occupied West Bank Territory.
The meeting will also tackle colonial settlement expansion, which undermines the authority of the Palestinian government, as well as the occupation’s piracy over its funds.
