RAMALLAH, Tuesday, July 2, 2024 (WAFA) - State minister for foreign affairs and expatriates, Varsen Shahin, warned of the dangers of legalizing new Israeli colonial outposts in the occupied West Bank.
During a meeting with Domenico Bellato, the Consul General of Italy in Jerusalem, Shahin stressed the need for the international community to exert pressure on the Israeli occupation authorities and hold them to account.
The state minister expressed appreciation for the efforts made by the Italian Government to provide humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip and reviewed the tragic situation that the population in the Gaza Strip faces in light of genocide, famine and forced displacement.
She called for the need to take concrete and serious steps to achieve a ceasefire, reopen all crossings with Gaza and allow the entry of humanitarian aid.
