NEW YORK, Sunday, June 23, 2024 (WAFA) - UNRWA Director of Planning, Sam Rose, said today that 39,000 high school students in the besieged Gaza Strip are unable to take their exams.
He slammed the deprivation of more than half a million children of education as appalling and sad.
“it is yet another layer of sadness that the population has gone through,” he said on his X account.
He also highlighted that more than half a million children in the Strip have been deprived of education for the past eight months.
