OIC participates in meeting on the Trilateral Coordination Mechanism for Palestine

JEDDAH, Friday, June 14, 2024 (WAFA) — The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), along with the League of Arab States and the African Union, participated in a consultative meeting to discuss the conceptual paper on the Trilateral Coordination Mechanism for Palestine.

The meeting took place on 12 June 2024, at the African Union headquarters in Addis Ababa.

The Trilateral Coordination Mechanism aims to enhance cooperation and consultation among the three organizations to support the Palestinian cause on the international stage.

It seeks to strengthen the connection and solidarity of nations with the rights of the Palestinian people, in line with the resolutions of Arab, Islamic, and African summits on this matter.
