JEDDAH, Saturday, June 8, 2024 (WAFA) – The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has strongly condemned the horrific massacre carried out by the Israeli occupation army in the Nuseirat refugee camp in the Gaza Strip, which resulted in the murder and injuries of hundreds of Palestinian citizens, most of whom were women and children.

In a statement issued today, the organization stated that the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza represent "continued state terrorism and genocide, flagrantly violating international humanitarian law and relevant United Nations resolutions."

It emphasized the need for investigation, accountability, and punishment under international criminal law for these crimes, stressing the International Criminal Court's responsibility in this regard.

OIC reiterated its call to the international community, especially the UN Security Council, to urgently intervene to halt the war crimes committed by the Israeli occupation in Gaza and to provide international protection for the Palestinian people.
