KUWAIT, Sunday, June 2, 2024 (WAFA) – Kuwait has Sunday expressed firm support to the United Nations and all its agencies, including the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA).
In a statement, the Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry affirmed Kuwait’s condemnation of the threats made by the Israeli occupation forces against UNRWA, after Israel threatened to list UNRWA as a terrorist organization, and demanded that it evacuate its buildings in East Jerusalem, stressing the need for the international community to come together to protect the multilateral global governance system of which UNRWA is a part of as one of the United Nations agencies.
