GENEVA, Monday, May 27, 2024 (WAFA) – The United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, Volker Türk, expressed horror at the Israeli airstrikes that killed 45 internally displaced persons and caused the injury of dozens of others in the southern Gaza city of Rafah, calling to hold the perpetrators to account.
The UN Human Rights Chief, in a statement, said the images from the camp are horrific and point to no apparent change in the methods and means of warfare used by Israel which have already led to so many civilian fatalities.
