RAMALLAH, Monday, May 27, 2027 (WAFA) – The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) today condemned the Israeli occupation forces committing a massacre against Palestinian civilians after bombing a camp crowded with thousands of displaced people in the city of Rafah, considering this a war crime.
The OIC described this massacre as a crime against humanity, and systemized state terrorism requiring accountability in accordance with international criminal law.
The Secretary-General of the Organization held the Israeli occupation accountable for the consequences of its crimes, terrorist practices and brutal attacks against the Palestinian people, which contradict all human values and constitute a flagrant violation of international law and international humanitarian law.
The organization renewed its call on the international community, especially the UN Security Council, to assume its responsibilities in obliging Israel to implement the orders of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) to immediately stop the Israeli aggression, open the Rafah crossing to enable the entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip.
The OIC also confirmed the need to put an end to this continuing brutal Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip, which resulted so far in the killing of about 36,000 Palestinians and the injury of 81,000 others.
