RIYADH, Monday, May 27, 2027 (WAFA) - The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Monday condemned the continued massacres of the Israeli occupation forces, and the continued targeting of defenseless civilians in the Gaza Strip, the latest of which was the targeting of displaced persons’ tents near the warehouses of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) northwest of Rafah.
The Saudi Foreign Ministry affirmed in a statement its firm rejection of the Israeli occupation forces’ continued blatant violations of all international and humanitarian resolutions, laws and norms, and called on the international community to intervene immediately to stop the massacres committed by the occupation forces to limit the aggravation of the unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe that the Palestinian people are experiencing.
In a new massacre, at least 40 civilians were killed and others were injured, mostly children and women, in the Israeli occupation's bombardment of the tents of displaced people northwest of the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip.
Local sources reported that at least 40 citizens were killed and others were injured after the occupation forces targeted, with at least eight missiles, the tents of people sheltering in a displacement camp that was recently established near the warehouses of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), northwest of Rafah.
