AMMAN, Tuesday, May 7, 2024 (WAFA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of Jordan, Ayman Safadi, confirmed today that the Israeli government is responsible for the recent attack on the Jordanian aid convoy en route to Gaza by extremist colonists.

In a statement posted on X, Safadi stated that the colonists "once again committed their heinous crime without facing accountability from Israeli authorities."

He urged the UN Security Council to take effective action to ensure the protection of aid convoys and their personnel.

On May 1st, a mob of Israeli colonists attacked two Jordanian aid convoys destined for Gaza.
