LOS ANGELES, Sunday, March 3, 2024 (WAFA) – In a powerful display of solidarity, thousands of pro-Palestinian demonstrators took to the streets of downtown Los Angeles yesterday, joining the Global Day of Action to demand an immediate end to the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza.

The vibrant crowd, adorned with Palestinian flags and banners, gathered outside City Hall around 1 p.m., setting the stage for a passionate and peaceful demonstration.

As the rally gained momentum, participants embarked on a slow march down Broadway, raising their voices and carrying signs that echoed their sentiments. Slogans such as "Stop the Genocide," "Free the 2 million hostages in Gaza," and "Ceasefire Now" resonated through the air.

The procession, comprised of a diverse and committed group of demonstrators, stretched for several city blocks, creating a striking visual representation of the widespread support for the Palestinian cause.

While exact numbers were difficult to ascertain, some participants estimated that tens of thousands joined the demonstration. The Los Angeles Police Department refrained from providing an official crowd estimate.

This large-scale protest was not confined to Los Angeles alone; similar expressions of solidarity unfolded in major cities across the United States, including San Francisco, Seattle, New York, and Washington.

The collective call for an end to the Israeli aggression reverberated through these cities, amplifying the global outcry against the persistent Israeli genocide of Palestinians in Gaza.
