WASHINGTON, Saturday, December 16, 2023 (WAFA) - Protesters in several American cities continue to block major roads with “human chains,” demanding urgent intervention and pressure on the US government to stop the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip as soon as possible.
This step, which was initially implemented two weeks ago in the city of Chicago, and was extended this week to many cities, including Philadelphia, Los Angeles (near LAX International Airport), and Houston, forced the halt of traffic on important streets, especially at peak hours, to deliver the message of the Palestinian people to the American taxpayers to take action to save them.
In this context, many youth groups raised banners demanding freedom for Palestine and an end to the war on many major bridges in the United States, and they also published pictures of the massacres committed by the Israeli occupation against the Palestinians on “mobile advertising trucks” driving through the cities to influence the American public opinion and increase solidarity with the Palestinian people.
