RAMALLAH, Saturday, November 18, 2023 (WAFA) – The Palestinian Presidency today called on the US administration to assume its responsibility and bring an end to Israel’s genocide against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and West Bank.

“Despite the ongoing daily bloody aggression in Gaza and the West Bank, accompanied by the evacuation and destruction of Gaza’s hospitals, we are astonished that the American administration is still obstructing international efforts to stop the Israeli aggression,” said the official spokesman for the Palestinian Presidency, Nabil Abu Rudeineh.

“We renew our demand for the American administration to assume its responsibilities and stop the genocide against the Palestinian people, which claimed the lives of thousands of martyrs and wounded, and to stop the massacres and war crimes that the Israeli occupation insists on committing in full view of the world in gross violation of international law and international humanitarian law,” he said.

Abu Rudeineh stressed that there is no other option for Israel and the US administration but to stop the aggression and end the occupation, “because this frenzied campaign in all of the Palestinian territories, which aims to create chaos and drag the region into endless wars, will burn everyone and no one will survive it.”

The official presidential spokesman added: "Once again we warn that this aggression will not bring peace and security to anyone, but rather will create a situation that will be impossible to contain in the entire region. Military and security solutions have proven their failure, and the only solution is to end the occupation and recognize the right of the Palestinian people to freedom and independence in accordance with international legitimacy and international law.”
