RIYADH, Tuesday, October 17, 2023 (WAFA) - The Saudi Council of Ministers today called for an immediate ceasefire, lifting the siege on Gaza and advancing the peace process, in accordance with Security Council and United Nations resolutions, and the Arab Peace Initiative aimed at establishing an independent Palestinian state on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
During its session held today in Riyadh, headed by King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Council of Ministers renewed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s categorical rejection of calls for the forced displacement of the Palestinian people.
