NABLUS, Tuesday, May 30, 2023 (WAFA) – 46 Palestinians were Tuesday injured during an Israeli military army raid into the refugee camp of Askar, east of the occupied West Bank city of Nablus, sources confirmed.

Security sources told WAFA that a large unit of Israeli forces raided the camp and broke into the family house of the slain Palestinian Hasan Qatanani and took its measurements as confrontations broke out in the area.

The sources added that the soldiers broke into several other houses and took the measurements of the family house of the slain Palestinian Hussam Saleem.

Ahmad Jibril, the head of the Emergency and Ambulance Department at the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS), told WAFA that medical crews dealt with 46 casualties; 44 of whom suffered from suffocation due to inhaling tear gas fired at them by Israeli forces, while one was shot with rubber-coated steel bullet and the other suffered injuries from falling.
