CALIFORNIA, Sunday, January 15, 2023 (WAFA) – The US Palestinian Community Network (USPCN) has called on the Palestinians in the United States to boycott products by Sadaf Food over continious support of Israeli settlements products and dealing with Israeli banks as well.

Sadaf Food, which was founded in 1982 and headquartered in Los Angeles, California, markets Palestinian traditional food and dishes such as hummos and falafel and presents them as Israeli products.

"USPCN has investigated Sadaf and Soofer Inc., a food goods company that is commonly found in Arab grocery stores, Target, Food for Less, Cost Plus, etc," said the USPCN in a statement.

"Sadaf participates in normalization trade programs, supports continued settler colonialism in Palestine, purchases goods from settler collectives, and culturally normalizes "Israel" by co-opting Arab culture and being a customer of "Israel Discount Bank." Sadaf has also previously used unhealthy substances in their food goods."

"We call on the community to STOP BUYING Sadaf products immediately and to hold the line against normalization! Help spread the word about our campaign by forwarding the newly launched Boycott Sadaf Campaign to your friends, families, personal networks, and any organizations who can be involved in the total boycott of Sadaf products! We also call on Arab store owners to immediately stop selling Sadaf in their stores," the USPCN concluded.
