BRUSSELS, August 8, 2025 (WAFA) – Belgian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Maxime Prévot summoned the Israeli ambassador to Brussels following Israel’s approval of a plan to fully occupy Gaza.
According to the Belgian news agency, the Foreign Ministry summoned Israeli ambassador Idit Rosenzweig-Abu following the Israeli occupation government's approval of a plan to occupy the remaining parts of the Gaza Strip.
Prévot condemned Israel’s decision, describing it as unacceptable and in violation of international law.
The minister also condemned the actions of colonists who seize Palestinian lands in the occupied Palestinian Territory.
He added that all these practices, which may lead to the erasure of Palestine from the map, are rejected and contradict international law, United Nations resolutions, and the International Court of Justice.
