JERICHO, Wednesday, March 23, 2022 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces today razed two Palestinian-owned residential structures near al-Ouja town, north of Jericho, according to a local activist.
Hassan Mleihat, a rights activist, said that Israeli forces escorted bulldozers to the Arab al-Ka‘abneh Bedouin community, west of the town, where the heavy machinery tore down two tin-roofed residential structures, reducing them to rubble and displacing 12 people.
The structures, which belong to Mohammad Ka‘abneh and his brother, Atallah, were demolished purportedly for being built without licenses.
Last Sunday, Israeli forces dismantled and destroyed two Palestinian-owned shelters in the village of Al-Muarrajat, west of the city.
