RAMALLAH,
Thursday, December 09, 2021 (WAFA) – Weather today is partly cloudy to cloudy
and relatively cold to cold in daytime and partly cloudy and cold in nighttime
with no change in temperature, which remains unseasonably low, according to the
Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Sporadic
rain showers are still expected, especially in the northern and central
districts, with the chance of rainfall tapering off towards the evening and
night. Moderate to occasionally active southwesterly to northwesterly wind
blows in daytime, while moderate to active easterly wind blows in the night.
Sea waves are medium to low.
Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and in Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 13°C and a low of 8°C, and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 12°C and a low of 7°C are expected. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 22°C and a low of 14°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 19°C and a low of 13°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
Friday’s temperature is set to rise and become seasonal, paving the way to partly cloudy and slightly cold to mild conditions in daytime and relatively cold to cold conditions in the night.
A further significant rise is expected in temperature, which becomes unseasonably high on Saturday, paving the way to clear and slightly cold to mild conditions in daytime and relatively cold to cold conditions in the night.
Sunday’s temperature is set to further rise and approach 4°C above the seasonal average, with clear and slightly cold to mild conditions in the day and relatively cold to cold conditions in the night.
