Ramallah, February 7, 2013, (Wafa) – Israeli forces in Nafha prison attacked on Thursday the prisoners in the second section, according to the ministry of prisoners affairs.
It said Israeli soldiers forced 64 prisoners out of their rooms and destroyed their belongings including their electronic devices.
Alaa Abu-Jazar, prisoner’s representative told the ministry that prisoners protested against the prison’s administration by shutting down all the sections, which led to clashes between the two sides.
He added that the prison’s administration intensified its inspections in the last few months causing tension and instability among prisoners.
