GAZA, May 5, 2025 (WAFA) – Eleven Palestinian citizens, including a child, were killed Monday in Israeli airstrikes and artillery shelling of several areas in the Gaza Strip, and an infant died of malnutrition.

WAFA correspondents said that Israeli fighter jets conducted an airstrike on the Ma'an area, south of Khan Yunis, killing three people.

 One civilian was killed in artillery shelling northeast of al-Qarara in Khan Yunis Governorate, and a child was killed in artillery shelling of the Shuja'iyya neighborhood, east of Gaza City.

Four-month-old Yousef al-Najjar also died of malnutrition in the Gaza Strip.

Thy added that Ahmed Abu Huwaishel, 22, succumbed to his wounds after the Israeli occupation forces shelled his family's home yesterday in Camp 1 in Nuseirat.

local sources said that four injured people arrived at the Arab Baptist Hospital after the occupation forces fired an artillery shell in the vicinity of the Ashwaq building, east of the Shuja'iyya neighborhood, east of Gaza City.
