RAMALLAH, May 5, 2025 (WAFA) – The Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD) said that the weather on Monday will be partly to mostly cloudy, with temperatures remaining below average.

Scattered showers, possibly accompanied by thunderstorms, are expected in some areas until the afternoon. In the evening, the weather will tend to stabilize, with northwesterly to southwesterly winds, active with occasional strong gusts. The sea waves will be high.

In the evening and night hours, the weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy, cold in mountainous areas and relatively cold in the rest of the country. 

Tomorrow, Tuesday, the weather will be partly cloudy to clear, spring-like, pleasant, and moderate in most areas. Temperatures will rise. The winds will be northwesterly to southwesterly, light to moderate, and the sea waves will be light to moderate.

On Wednesday, the weather will be partly cloudy and relatively hot in the mountainous regions, while it will be hot elsewhere. Temperatures will rise further. Light to moderate northwesterly winds will blow. Sea waves will be light.

While on Thursday, a hot and dry air mass will affect the country. The weather will be hot and dry in most areas. Temperatures will rise further. Light to moderate northwesterly to southeasterly winds will blow, and the sea waves will be light.

The Meteorological Department warned citizens today of strong winds, the possibility of flash floods in some valleys and low-lying areas in the eastern and southern regions, and the risk of slipping on the roads and poor horizontal visibility.
