Eight civilians killed in Israeli bombardment of Beit Hanoun and Khan Yunis in Gaza

GAZA, May 5, 2025 (WAFA) – Eight Palestinian citizens  Monday were killed and others injured in a series  of Israeli airstrikes targeting Beit Hanoun and Khan Yunis in the Gaza Strip.

Four citizens were also killed and six others were injured when Israeli airstrikes targeted a residential building on Omar Al-Mukhtar Street in Gaza City.

Meanwhile, Israeli fighter jets conducted an airstrike on the town of Beit Hanoun, north of the Gaza Strip, killing two people.

Two people were also killed in Israeli airstrikes targeting the Qizan Rashwan area, southwest of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.

Several causalities were reported after an Israeli drone was bombed near the Bir al-Saba' Mosque in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, north of Gaza City.

Israeli fighter jets opened fire, simultaneously with artillery shelling and tank fire, in the Al-Mawasi area, west of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip. Israeli artillery also shelled the area south of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.

Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli occupation forces have launched an aggression against the Gaza Strip, resulting in the killing of 52,535 Palestinians, the majority of whom were children and women, with nearly 118,491 reported wounded.
