RAMALLAH, August 6, 2012 (WAFA) – Presidential spokesman Nabil Abu Rudeineh Monday strongly condemned the attack against an Egyptian border checkpoint.
He told WAFA that “the Palestinian people and leadership, particularly President Mahmoud Abbas, condemn in the strongest words possible this crime” and express solidarity with the Egyptian people.
Abu Rudeineh expressed grief and sorrow at the death of the 15 soldiers, stressing that “terrorism will not discourage Egypt from its national role in protecting and defending the Palestinian cause.”
