RAMALLAH, August 5, 2012 (WAFA) – Fatah Central Committee member Nabil Shaath Sunday condemned Israel’s preventing of delegations of four countries to enter Palestine in order to participate in the extraordinary ministerial meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement Committee on Palestine, according to a statement released by his office.
Israel, as the occupying power, denies the Palestinians’ rights to communicate with the outer world and insists on depriving Palestinians from their right to run their own affairs, thus breaching relevant United Nations resolutions and agreements, said Shaath.
Israel claimed that delegations of Bangladesh, Malaysia, Cuba and Indonesia were denied entrance because they don’t maintain diplomatic relations with it. The claims were met by Palestinian official denouncement since the delegations wanted to enter Palestine not Israel.
