Amr Moussa: Attending Annapolis Means not Normalizing Ties with Israel
CAIRO, November 24, 2007, (WAFA)- League of Arab States said Friday that it agreed to attend International summit of Annapolis in the U.S at the level of Arab Foreign Ministers.
Secretary General of the League of Arab States Amr Moussa pointed out that “attending Annapolis does not mean normalizing ties with Israel but reviving the negotiation process between the two sides that can lead to a comprehensive peace processâ€.
“We will not go there to sign treaties but to revive a genuine negotiating process within a specified timetable frameâ€, Moussa added.
He as well stressed the necessity of Annapolis Summit to be followed by another meeting sponsored by Russia after two months so as to follow up what has been scheduled in Annapolis.
