PLO: 44 Citizens Slain during Last October by IOF
RAMALLAH, November 7, 2007, (WAFA)- PLO National and International Relations Department said on Wednesday that 44 citizens were slain by Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) during last October.
In its release entitled as “People Under Occupationâ€, the department said that “ 27 of the 44 citizens were killed during liquidation processes by Israeli under-cover units and war missilesâ€.
It added that the “IOF wounded 120 citizens by bullets during their military actions in the cities, villages and refugee camps. Israeli soldiers arrested 350 citizens in search campaigns and on military checkpoints. They also demolished 3 houses, razed 445 dunums of cultivated lands and seized 1130 dunums for settling streets to be builtâ€.
The department as well enlisted the Israeli aggressions against the Palestinian people; imposing new restrictions on Gaza Strip; reducing the fuel percentage, threatening to cut off electricity and closing crossings due to which a wide shortage of basic supplies was inflicted.
“The Israeli authorities go on judizing the occupied Holy Jerusalem by imposing more restrictions over the Palestinian citizens’ access into the holy city, establishing institutions for the Israeli settlers and allowing them to access the city freelyâ€, according to the department.
