RAMALLAH, November 4, 2007 (WAFA)-President Mahmoud Abbas confirmed on Sunday that Fatah movement is the backbone of the Palestinian national work since its inception until independence in the near future and the establishment of the Palestinian state, with Jerusalem as its capital.

In his speech to Fateh Cadres in Ramallah, President said that Our acceptance of any thing, through negotiations, is not final, because we introduce it to a referendum for all the Palestinian people, adding that if we are not able to provide the final agreement on the referendum, we introduce it to the Palestinian National Council and not to the Legislative Council because it is part of the National Council and above all the final judgment of what we can reach via negotiations is the Palestinian people.

President added that We have proposed setting a date and time to negotiate on the final solution and these points are not all agreed upon, but are subject to search and negotiations. We will go to the peace conference and we armed by a document, which includes all issues by the agreement with the Arab brothers.
