President Abbas: Fatah Skeleton of Nationalism
RAMALLAH, November 4, 2007 (WAFA) - President Mahmoud Abbas said on Sunday that Fatah Movement is the skeleton of the Palestinian national project since its start until a close independence of Palestine and having Jerusalem as its capital.
President Abbas was speaking in the West Bank city of Ramallah to Fatah leaders and cadres.
Regarding the Palestinian-Israeli negotiations, President Abbas said there was no call for an international conference, adding that there was a call for a meeting in Washington like fifteen years ago to find a final solution to the Palestinian cause.
He added that the international meeting expanded and included the Quaret, the G8, the UNSC members, Turkey, Malaysia, Indonesia, Norway and a number of countries who wanted to participate in this conference.
He said “now we are negotiating with Israel with a US presence on the following†adding thatwe accept it from A to Z and we no reservations on it; we accept it as a whole.â€
