King of Jordan, Olmert Discuss Supporting Peace Process
Beijing, October 30, 2007 (WAFA) - King Abdullah II of Jordan discussed over phone on Tuesday with Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert ways of supporting the peace process between Palestinians and Israelis.
King Abdullah highlighted the importance of supporting the international meeting on peace, which will be held in the US in the fall, said Jordan’s official news agency, Petra.
Petra said, during the call, King checked on Olmert’s health after he has been diagnosed with prostate cancer.
It said Jordan's King urged Olmert to help make a U.S.-sponsored international peace conference a "success."
