LISBOA, September 29, 2007 (WAFA)-President Mahmoud Abbas met Saturday with Portuguese Prime Minister Mr. Jose Socrates, in Lisboa.

Talks were centered on the common issues and mutual ties as well as the role of Portugal in pushing the peace process forward since it is the Chairperson of the current session of the European Union.
