PJS Calls for Protecting Palestinian Journalists
RAMALLAH, September 26, 2007 (WAFA)-Palestinian Journalists' Syndicate (PJS) called on Wednesday for supporting journalists in their duty.
In a statement on the occasion of solidarity Day with journalists, PJS hailed the Palestinian journalists' stead fastness in the face of Israeli occupation forces and Hamas illegal executive force in the Gaza Strip.
The PJS called on the Palestinian Leadership and Arab and international media institutions to show solidarity with journalists and work to provide protection for them, remembering at the same time those fifteen journalists who killed during Independence and Al-Aqsa Intifadas.
