Hamas Illegal Executive Force Seeks to Prevent Friday Prayers in Public Squares in Gaza Strip
RAMALLAH-GAZA, August 31, 2007 (WAFA)-Hamas Illegal executive force sent hundreds of notifications for members of the Fatah movement to show up at its headquarters at ten this morning in various parts of the Gaza Strip.
These notifications came as an attempt to thwart the Friday prayer called for by the Fatah movement today in the yard of the Unknown Soldier, downtown Gaza City.
Illegal executive force delivered threats for the citizens threatening them of beating, kidnapping or murder if they performed the Friday prayers in public squares in response to a call by Fatah and PLO factions.
Last Friday, Illegal executive force attacked thousands of worshippers performing Friday prayers in the yard of the Unknown Soldier, downtown Gaza City as well as beaten and arrested number of journalists.
