CAIRO, August 27, 2007, (WAFA)-The Arab League strongly condemned on Monday the continued Israeli aggression on the Palestinian territory, denouncing the silence of international community.

The league, in a statement , called on all international organizations, the UN Security Council and the Quartet to adopt firm stance in the face of the continued Israeli violation against the Palestinian people, calling for pressurizing Israeli government to stop its aggression.

It concluded that the death toll yesterday because of ongoing Israeli aggression in the West Bank and Gaza Strip mounted to nine victims.
