RAMLLAH, August 25,2007 (WAFA)-Hamas militias stormed on Saturday a house belonging to an employee in the Ministry of Waqf and Religious Affairs and Imam of mosque in the Gaza Strip town of Beit Lahiya, witnesses said.

They told WAFA that illegal militias broke into the house of Jawad al-Madhoon, Imam of al-Ribat mosque in the town, fired inside and terrorized its residents ,particularly children.

They also threw two grenades on the roof amid surprising neighbors, who had risen to defend their home – but the illegal militias fled from the scene. The neighbors could recognize one of the attacker called Ayman Mahmoud Odeh, a member of the Qassam Brigades, who was accused of killing and torturing number of Fatah cadres.
