President Calls for Ending Infighting in Gaza
RAMALLAH, June 11, 2007, (WAFA)-President Mahmoud Abbas called on Monday for an immediate cessation of infighting in the Gaza Strip.
Following his inspecting the general secondary school examinations in Faisal Husseini male school and Spanish school for girls in Ramallah, President told reporters that the clashes take place from time to time in the Gaza Strip are unfortunate and very abusive to us, adding that the two sides are working very hard together with our brothers the Egyptians to eliminate these phenomena that affect us and our future.
President called on all to stop fighting immediately, not only for high school exams, but for our people to live a normal life, calling for ending the deadlock in which we live once again with us and once with the Israelis.
