MPA Denounces Israel's Policy of Deliberate Medical Negligance against Prisoners
GAZA, June 10, 2007, (WAFA)- Ministry of Prisoners Affairs (MPA) denounced Sunday Israel's policy of deliberate medical negligance that led to the death of a Palestinian prisoner in Israeli jails.
The Ministry called, in a press release, on the international community to shoulder responsibility regarding the Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails.
MPA called on the international community to pressurize Israel to respect the rules of the International Human Law in its dealing with the prisoners.
Prisoner, Mostafa Dandan, from Nablus, died Saturday in an Israeli prison as a result of health deterioration and Israeli carelessness.
189 Palestinian prisoners died (and killed), including 44 patient, in Israeli prisons since Israel occupied the Gaza Strip and West Bank, including Jerusalem, in 1967, MPA said.
