GAZA, June 5, 2007, (WAFA)-A medical study conducted recently showed that the greater percentage of Palestinian children suffer chronic psychiatric disorders due to Israeli practices and repressive measures.

In a press release issued Tuesday, the Gathering Center for Palestinian Right said the that at a time when the world demands the rights of the child, such as care , food and a decent life, we see a Palestinian child deprived of the most basic of these rights.

"Many Palestinian families' children complain of bedwetting as a result of psychological situations and there are many other diseases that afflict children because of the atmosphere of war and terror caused by the Israeli occupation," according to the press release.

The Center called on international regional and Arab institutions to immediately intervene and save a Palestinian child from the savagery of the Israeli occupation and called on the international community to immediately send delegations to the Occupied Territories to see the tragic reality faced by the Palestinian child.
