Israel Refuses Granting Minister of Information Permits into Jerusalem and Gaza Strip
RAMALLAH, June 4, 2007, (WAFA)-Minister of Information and government's official spokesman Dr. Mustafa al-Barghouthi said Monday that the Israeli occupation authorities refused to grant him permits to reach the city of Jerusalem or the Gaza Strip.
In a statement, AL-Barghouthi said that Israel has refused to allow him access to the Gaza Strip since the formation of a government of national unity in mid-March.
Al-Barghouti pointed out that this Israeli action falls under siege policy pursued by Israel and aims at disrupting the work of the of the national unity government.
